Anthoon Vandenbosch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Leyman in the 25th minute of the match. Joey Leyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthoon Vandenbosch having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ittihad de Tanger's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Ceulemans came free, but Anthoon Vandenbosch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre De Putter in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignace Van Linthaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Awesome Ville's Ignace Van Linthaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre De Putter in the 36th minute of play. Sammy Pluijssens in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignace Van Linthaut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Sammy Pluijssens came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ittihad de Tanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Pluijssens couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mickael Ceulemans made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Anthoon Vandenbosch managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Awesome Ville's Joey Leyman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roel Dauwe kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mickael Ceulemans struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anthoon Vandenbosch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Awesome Ville. With a little luck, Ittihad de Tanger's Anthoon Vandenbosch got control of the ball when Joey Leyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Rutgeerts was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Awesome Ville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 67 minutes into the match, Ittihad de Tanger's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Ceulemans came free, but Anthoon Vandenbosch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Sammy Pluijssens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ittihad de Tanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sammy Pluijssens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sammy Pluijssens might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignace Van Linthaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Pluijssens ran back to his position shaking his head. Sammy Pluijssens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Van Linthaut having to interfere. Sammy Pluijssens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Alexandre De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignace Van Linthaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas-Jan Van Malcot's late challenge caught a Ittihad de Tanger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas-Jan Van Malcot helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, Awesome Ville's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Pluijssens came free, but Ignace Van Linthaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Awesome Ville's zone, Sammy Pluijssens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignace Van Linthaut came out of the goal and Sammy Pluijssens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
