Daring Ruddervoorde's Nick Van Aerschodt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Pluijssens in the 17th minute of play. Ittihad de Tanger's Sammy Pluijssens got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nick Van Aerschodt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel Dauwe in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Sammy Pluijssens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nick Van Aerschodt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Pluijssens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sammy Pluijssens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Alexandre De Putter made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alexandre De Putter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ittihad de Tanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre De Putter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Van Aerschodt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axell De Fauw in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthoon Vandenbosch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daring Ruddervoorde's goalkeeper Nick Van Aerschodt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre De Putter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nick Van Aerschodt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daring Ruddervoorde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Daan Aerts scored to the left of an out of position Nick Van Aerschodt, making the score, 2-1. If Alexandre De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Daring Ruddervoorde's goalkeeper Nick Van Aerschodt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Pluijssens got free with Nick Van Aerschodt in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roel Dauwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Van Aerschodt having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ittihad de Tanger players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Daring Ruddervoorde.
