Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludo Wegers kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Awesome Ville got a freekick which was hit by Rajmond Huijbrechts. Crazy Diamonds's Ludo Wegers got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thibaud Grootjans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ignace Van Linthaut made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Awesome Ville's goalkeeper Ignace Van Linthaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thibaud Grootjans. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas-Jan Van Malcot during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Awesome Ville got a freekick which was hit by Thomas-Jan Van Malcot. Ignace Van Linthaut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thibaud Grootjans in the 18th minute. Ernest De Meesemaeckere hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thibaud Grootjans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Mickael Ceulemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude De Vriendt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickael Ceulemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude De Vriendt having to interfere. If Mickael Ceulemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joey Leyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude De Vriendt having to interfere. Mickael Ceulemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Awesome Ville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Dekeyser fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Awesome Ville's Thomas-Jan Van Malcot got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Crazy Diamonds's Ludo Wegers in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Awesome Ville's goalie prevented a goal. Ludo Wegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Van Linthaut having to interfere. Thibaud Grootjans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Leo Dekeyser kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Joey Leyman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claude De Vriendt firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Awesome Ville booed when Crazy Diamonds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvain Van Malcot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Joey Leyman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claude De Vriendt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Joey Leyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Awesome Ville's supporters rose to their feet, but Joey Leyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude De Vriendt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mickael Ceulemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludo Wegers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignace Van Linthaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Joey Leyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignace Van Linthaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo Wegers in the 89th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
