Teun Tilemans hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Waalshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Vercalsteren came free, but Mathijs Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Roosendael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanick Van Steen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Natan Van De Gehuchte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yanick Van Steen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Roosendael's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Jorg Van de Put hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Waalshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teun Tilemans to maneuver through the defense. If Ief Vercalsteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathijs Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Sterkx in the 33rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natan Van De Gehuchte to make the kick off. The supporters of Waalshoek booed when SC Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Sterkx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Waalshoek got a corner. SC Internacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeffrey Schoolmeesters ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Waalshoek's Jeffrey Schoolmeesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Yanick Van Steen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Philippe-Arnaud De nuijter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Van Steen having to interfere. Philippe-Arnaud De nuijter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Yanick Van Steen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Johannes Roosendael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Yanick Van Steen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Roosendael in the 77th minute of the match. Philippe-Arnaud De nuijter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Yanick Van Steen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Roosendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe-Arnaud De nuijter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Yanick Van Steen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abraham Sterkx fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Internacional's protests and gave Abraham Sterkx a yellow card for diving instead. Yanick Van Steen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud De nuijter, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Internacional players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Waalshoek.
