The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guy De Vlaeminck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Glenn De Ruyter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glenn De Ruyter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Van Gorp having to interfere. Guy De Vlaeminck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Langendonckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Michael Dewinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludwig Langendonckx in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Michael Dewinter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Langendonckx in the 83rd minute of the match. Ludwig Langendonckx struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Michael Dewinter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De vurige kust.
