Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jelle Van Der Meeren to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Tijs Dejardin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbrecht Laermans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Octaaf Debock kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Jelle Van Der Meeren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexandre De Cat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominick De Vriendt in the 62nd minute of play forced RSC Mitswege's goalkeeper Alexandre De Cat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jelle Van Der Meeren in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre De Cat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dominick De Vriendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute.
