Jaspar Van hoegaerde didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The Spanito fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens Oelaerts should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Joonatan De Spiegeleire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Oelaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Kluisbergen were furious when Christoff Terhorst was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kluisbergen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute, the referee gave Spanito fc a penalty. Timothy Wittemans looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Jaspar Van hoegaerde. If Lennert Clinckspoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Hannes Rutgeerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jens Oelaerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnaud Heremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennert Clinckspoor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jens Oelaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Timmy Sproten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kluisbergen's Lennert Clinckspoor in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th match minute, Kluisbergen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Heremans to maneuver through the defense. Jens Oelaerts came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kluisbergen's Lennert Clinckspoor. But to his dismay, Lennert Clinckspoor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Hannes Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jens Oelaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennert Clinckspoor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Lennert Clinckspoor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kluisbergen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 68th minute Timmy Sproten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaspar Van hoegaerde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennert Clinckspoor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Rutgeerts got free with Jens Oelaerts in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lennert Clinckspoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Spanito fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kluisbergen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
