Lennert Clinckspoor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Voets when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Lennert Clinckspoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesse Owerckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Lennert Clinckspoor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Voets. Sautour's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennert Clinckspoor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lennert Clinckspoor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Joonatan De Spiegeleire made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sautour's Thomas Voets tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Lennert Clinckspoor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joonatan De Spiegeleire spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sautour's goal. With an all-out effort, Kluisbergen's Thomas Voets threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joonatan De Spiegeleire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joonatan De Spiegeleire to make the kick off. Kluisbergen's Jaspar Van hoegaerde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorre de Pelsmaker in the 55th minute of play. Joonatan De Spiegeleire kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Lennert Clinckspoor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Voets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joonatan De Spiegeleire ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Voets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert Clinckspoor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Joonatan De Spiegeleire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Voets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Sautour's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Clinckspoor came free, but Thomas Voets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
