Spectators: 7373 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daevy Dekens made the kick off which started today's match. Kluisbergen's Jaspar Van hoegaerde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daevy Dekens in the 5th minute of play. When Lennert Clinckspoor came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Kluisbergen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennert Clinckspoor couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, KAA Grandmenil's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Clinckspoor came free, but Robrecht Baecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daevy Dekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jaspar Van hoegaerde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ive Bernaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daevy Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaspar Van hoegaerde having to interfere. The supporters of KAA Grandmenil booed when Kluisbergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Rutgeerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Daevy Dekens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robrecht Baecke came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Kluisbergen's Lennert Clinckspoor. But to his dismay, Lennert Clinckspoor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan De Vleeschauwer during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes KAA Grandmenil got a freekick which was hit by Johan De Vleeschauwer. 40 minutes into the match, Lennert Clinckspoor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robrecht Baecke. KAA Grandmenil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennert Clinckspoor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Robrecht Baecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan De Spiegeleire in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Joonatan De Spiegeleire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kluisbergen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joonatan De Spiegeleire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joonatan De Spiegeleire was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Ive Bernaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Grandmenil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ive Bernaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of KAA Grandmenil booed when Kluisbergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Heremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. KAA Grandmenil's Robrecht Baecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan De Spiegeleire in the 67th minute of play. With his leg Robrecht Baecke managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Kluisbergen's Joonatan De Spiegeleire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hannes Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Robrecht Baecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robrecht Baecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan De Spiegeleire in the 75th minute of play. Joonatan De Spiegeleire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Rijmenants charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Rijmenants the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Rijmenants kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Joonatan De Spiegeleire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robrecht Baecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan De Spiegeleire in the 83rd minute of play. The Kluisbergen fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Kluisbergen's Joonatan De Spiegeleire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute, Joonatan De Spiegeleire reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robrecht Baecke. The goal made the score 0-4. Lennert Clinckspoor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Kluisbergen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KAA Grandmenil.
