Jasper Deckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to RSC Gottignies getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Louis Van Caubergen hit a great ball. Raymond Maeijnarts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, The Jersey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Ceusters to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Gottignies's goalkeeper Yanniek den Pelsmaeker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Klaus Dedecker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jersey's Raymond Maeijnarts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Deckers in the 36th minute of play. Raymond Maeijnarts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jasper Deckers went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rob Smoors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RSC Gottignies's Yanniek den Pelsmaeker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save RSC Gottignies from getting a goal against them. The The Jersey players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RSC Gottignies were winning 0-2.

Louis Van Caubergen struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Raymond Maeijnarts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Gottignies. Jerome Roels was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 54 played minutes The Jersey got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Roels. RSC Gottignies's Jasper Deckers got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rob Smoors managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Jersey's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Smoors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanniek den Pelsmaeker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Rob Smoors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanniek den Pelsmaeker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanniek den Pelsmaeker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rob Smoors's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Raymond Maeijnarts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Van Caubergen in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, The Jersey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Ceusters to maneuver through the defense. Jasper Deckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Maeijnarts having to interfere. Louis Van Caubergen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymond Maeijnarts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Louis Van Caubergen might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymond Maeijnarts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Van Caubergen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, The Jersey's Raymond Maeijnarts got control of the ball when Jasper Deckers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raymond Maeijnarts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Van Caubergen in the 77th minute of play. Jasper Deckerss short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Raymond Maeijnarts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Louis Van Caubergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Maeijnarts was a little too slow when Louis Van Caubergen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-3. 90 minutes into the match, The Jersey's goalkeeper Raymond Maeijnarts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Deckers. After a defensive mix-up in The Jersey's zone, Louis Van Caubergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Maeijnarts came out of the goal and Louis Van Caubergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymond Maeijnarts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jasper Deckers in the 93rd minute. Klaus Dedecker kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jasper Deckers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The The Jersey supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Gottignies's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Gottignies.
