Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louis Van Caubergen started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Louis Van Caubergen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fred Decoster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8thth minute of the game Sander Klinkenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Gottignies's Yanniek den Pelsmaeker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Anthisnes defense, Jasper Deckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Decoster. The Anthisnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Decoster should have stopped the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Sander Klinkenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anthisnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sander Klinkenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Louis Van Caubergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anthisnes's Fred Decoster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sander Klinkenberg came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Anthisnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sander Klinkenberg couldn't finish the play. Phillipe De Witte charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phillipe De Witte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geert-Jan De Raeve in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yanniek den Pelsmaeker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante De Keyser during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante De Keyser hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Sander Klinkenberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Anthisnes's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Van Caubergen came free, but Fred Decoster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jasper Deckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match Teun De Ridder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Decoster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Anthisnes's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Deckers came free, but Fred Decoster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franck Theys kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Jasper Deckers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Decoster. Anthisnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasper Deckers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Anthisnes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RSC Gottignies were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sander Klinkenberg was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sander Klinkenberg in the 56th minute of play forced RSC Gottignies's goalkeeper Yanniek den Pelsmaeker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geert-Jan De Raeve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanniek den Pelsmaeker having to interfere. Gwenn Steurms kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sander Klinkenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Yanniek den Pelsmaeker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Jasper Deckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Gottignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Deckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louis Van Caubergen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthisnes's Cederique Van Hoeyveld got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yanniek den Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sander Klinkenberg in the 81st minute of play. RSC Gottignies's attack was well implemented in the 90th minute, but when Jasper Deckers was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Louis Van Caubergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Decoster having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Sander Klinkenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anthisnes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RSC Gottignies eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
