After 33 played minutes RSC Moderscheid got a freekick which was hit by Mattijs De Custer. If Will Hemelaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diego Schollens fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Moderscheid's protests and gave Diego Schollens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Diego Schollens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre-Alexandre Van Aerschot to strike the kick off in the second half. After 68 played minutes RSC Moderscheid got a freekick which was hit by Mattijs De Custer. After 71 minutes RSC Moderscheid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jo Imberechts who took care of the corner kick. Pierre-Alexandre Van Aerschot made a great header on The Bleu Dream Team's corner, it was just that RSC Moderscheid's Brend Baeten managed to reach the ball for a save. Pierre-Alexandre Van Aerschot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Brend Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Imbrechts was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Wout de Pelsmaker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wout de Pelsmaker really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. RSC Moderscheid's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
