Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) Lorenz Pellegrims started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The RSC Moderscheid fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when RSC Moderscheid's Cedric Van de Put looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Isemborgh in the 14th minute of play forced RSC Moderscheid's goalkeeper Brend Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedric Van de Put sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Tommi van Hollebecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Lorenz Pellegrims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Nagels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, RSC Moderscheid's goal looked a bit too open when Boudewijn Van Den Broeck came free, but Brend Baeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenz Pellegrims kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julien Nagels. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Lorenz Pellegrims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cedric Van de Put fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien Nagels having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boudewijn Van Den Broeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brend Baeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Van Den Broeck in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, RSC Moderscheid's Brend Baeten got control of the ball when Mats Isemborgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Wout de Pelsmaker fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Moderscheid's protests and gave Wout de Pelsmaker a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RSC Moderscheid's Wout de Pelsmaker got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Cedric Van de Put had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, RSC Moderscheid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Van de Put to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz Pellegrims in the 86th minute of play forced Mazenhoven's goalkeeper Julien Nagels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wout de Pelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. RSC Moderscheid's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
