RSC Moderscheid's Brend Baeten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thobias Cooreman in the 3rd minute of play. Diego Schollens hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Brend Baeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thobias Cooreman in the 12th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of RSC Moderscheid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MicMak:s goal. Olivier Fossaert walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thobias Cooreman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Brend Baeten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MicMak. If Kieth Vandenbosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, RSC Moderscheid's goal looked a bit too open when Thobias Cooreman came free, but Brend Baeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenz Pellegrims to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cedric Van de Put who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MicMak's Tommy Van Lueven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenz Pellegrims in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Van Lueven saved MicMak from getting behind. Tommy Van Lueven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Van de Put in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes RSC Moderscheid got a freekick which was hit by Wout de Pelsmaker. Thobias Cooreman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Brend Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kieth Vandenbosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MicMak's Thobias Cooreman got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Thobias Cooreman managed to get in a good position for a shot. MicMak's supporters rose to their feet, but Thobias Cooreman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brend Baeten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brend Baeten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thobias Cooreman in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kieth Vandenbosch in the 86th minute of play forced RSC Moderscheid's goalkeeper Brend Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
