In the 20th match minute, Lede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Daniels to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Olivier Fossaert sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lede's Roger Stuckers didn't even have to move. In the 24th minute, Timothy Wolput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Kieth Vandenbosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Stuckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Lede's goal looked a bit too open when Kieth Vandenbosch came free, but Roger Stuckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Thobias Cooreman came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the MicMak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thobias Cooreman couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luckas Baert in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Van Lueven saved MicMak from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Thobias Cooreman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Lede's goal looked a bit too open when Kieth Vandenbosch came free, but Roger Stuckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Hans Tubbackx managed to get in a good position for a shot. MicMak's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Tubbackx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Stuckers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristof Van Hoyveldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kieth Vandenbosch came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the MicMak fans jumped to their feet. But to his dismay, Kieth Vandenbosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 90 minutes into the match, MicMak's goalkeeper Tommy Van Lueven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luckas Baert. Lede were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MicMak's much stronger midfield.
