The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Soren Van Den Bosche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvain Bal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soren Van Den Bosche in the 12th minute of play. Leopold Borginions fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvain Bal having to interfere. The corner led FC The Losers's Dyllen Stuycken to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvain Bal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leopold Borginions received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Silvain Bal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvain Bal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soren Van Den Bosche in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Biermans to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Soren Van Den Bosche fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvain Bal, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, FC The Losers's Leopold Borginions got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Leopold Borginions got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rundershoek's Silvain Bal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rundershoek from getting a goal against them. Leopold Borginions recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC The Losers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
