Andre Callaertss short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Roger Stuckers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Walsegem's Laurent De Meesemaeckere slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Stuckers. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Luckas Baert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander-Paul de Koninck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luckas Baert in the 21st minute of play forced Walsegem's goalkeeper Xander-Paul de Koninck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Rein Daniels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xander-Paul de Koninck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Hoyveldt in the 29th minute of play. Andre Callaerts's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Stuckers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timothy Wolput charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timothy Wolput the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Lede got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Wolput. 74 minutes into the match, Lede's goal looked a bit too open when Laurent De Meesemaeckere came free, but Roger Stuckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rein Daniels's late challenge caught a Walsegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rein Daniels helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Rein Daniels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Romain Anteunis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Stuckers skillfully saved the ball. Timmy Kest took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Stuckers. Lede's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andre Callaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Stuckers having to interfere. Walsegem's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
