Marnix Hagemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamie Backers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, KFC VLadivorstock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Backers to maneuver through the defense. Pierre-Olivier Van Eede charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diederik van Eycken couldn't finish the play.
