Club Loncin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ewout Verbeke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yvan Rauvoe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Schols's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, V zondereigen's goal looked a bit too open when Will Schols came free, but Yvan Rauvoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny De Muysere struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Yvan Rauvoe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Loncin. Stephen Van Eijcken ran back to his position shaking his head. When Stephen Van Deyck fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Loncin's protests and gave Stephen Van Deyck a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of V zondereigen booed when Club Loncin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Van Deyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ewout Verbeke notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Loncin's Jilian Uyterhelcht. Jilian Uyterhelcht was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Danny De Muysere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Rauvoe having to interfere.

Club Loncin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Ewout Verbeke came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jilian Uyterhelcht could save by the left post. The V zondereigen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
