The referee ignored Meirreyt's protests and gave Conrad Van Crickinghe a yellow card for diving instead. The nice shot from Andre Kloots in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Stan Vrijdag had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With his leg Stan Vrijdag managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when KSV Dottignies's Andre Kloots fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andre Kloots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Fouquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Stan Vrijdag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KSV Dottignies getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lenny Van Meel hit a great ball. Thomas Geraerts made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Peter-Jan Van Aertvinck sent off a good shot on target. If Mitch Fouquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kevin Bastiaens fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
