Bernt Franckx came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Thielens could save by the left post. Bruno Thielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebbe De Vreese in the 16th minute of play. Niel Segers scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannick Rutgeerts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Eegem booed when SV Moorslede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetan Balckmans didn't get a good kick on the ball.
