Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nico Hemeleers kicked off to start the match. William Decremer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Hemeleers, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of FC Diest booed when Botswana Meat Commission was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goffrey Van Maestricht didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nico Hemeleers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, FC Diest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Vrolijcx to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, FC Diest's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph De Cock came free, but Gerard Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christoph De Cock fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botswana Meat Commission's protests and gave Christoph De Cock a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Botswana Meat Commission:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Diest:s goal. FC Diest's Jacq Sterckmans got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hannes Van Cauwenberg's late challenge caught a FC Diest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Van Cauwenberg helped the player get up and apologised. Jan-Joost Van Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Spoelberch having to interfere. Alexander Van Steen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jan-Joost Van Steen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Arnaud De Vleeschauwer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 45 minutes of play Botswana Meat Commission's Goffrey Van Maestricht was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Diest booed when Botswana Meat Commission was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goffrey Van Maestricht didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Jacq Sterckmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Decremer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Arnaud De Vleeschauwer made the kick off in the second half. Arnaud De Vleeschauwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Hannes Van Cauwenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacq Sterckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Botswana Meat Commission's Arnaud De Vleeschauwer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerard Spoelberch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hannes Van Cauwenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gerard Spoelberch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Hemeleers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Diest's Gerard Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud De Vleeschauwer in the 73rd minute of play. Alexander Van Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gerard Spoelberch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaud De Vleeschauwer's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Arnaud De Vleeschauwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luukas Humbelets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luukas Humbelets struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gerard Spoelberch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botswana Meat Commission. After a rather tough play, Botswana Meat Commission's Christoph De Cock got a free kick in the 99th minute. Jacq Sterckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Decremer having to interfere.
