Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Sheffield Tuesday's Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jozef Raemakers saved Upigny from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe in the 8th minute of play forced Upigny's goalkeeper Jozef Raemakers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Upigny getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lauren Beetens hit a great ball. If Ruben Baumans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Baumans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Raemakers having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Baumans in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jozef Raemakers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sheffield Tuesday's Gregory Vloebergh got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Joost Van Houdtvinck came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Upigny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joost Van Houdtvinck couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Upigny's Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gill De Weijngaerden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jozef Raemakers. Upigny's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Upigny's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe-Arnaud Krabbe came free, but Jozef Raemakers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Floris Nys during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Floris Nys hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jozef Raemakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Baumans in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Jurgen Schroons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upigny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurgen Schroons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Upigny's goalkeeper Jozef Raemakers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheffield Tuesday's goalkeeper Marten Goegebeur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marten Goegebeur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost Van Houdtvinck in the 75th minute of the match. Jurgen Schroons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marten Goegebeur having to interfere. Marten Goegebeur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joost Van Houdtvinck's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Jozef Raemakers made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ruben Baumans sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sheffield Tuesday booed when Upigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jozef Raemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Reniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ruben Baumans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jozef Raemakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Weygaerts during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sheffield Tuesday's Johan Weygaerts got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ruben Baumans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Jozef Raemakers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joost Van Houdtvinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Upigny were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sheffield Tuesday for a fine match.
