Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greg Portai kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Refael Justus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Manguis & Company's Yannis Cerneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurens Clinckspoor in the 4th minute of play. Steven Huijberechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo De Mulder having to interfere. In the 14th minute Laurens Clinckspoor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yannis Cerneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Wes Daniels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC broll and the Los Manguis & Company players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes FC broll got a freekick which was hit by Wes Daniels. Ramon de Pelsmaecker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Yannis Cerneels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yannis Cerneels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon de Pelsmaecker went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vince Verheijd's late challenge caught a FC broll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Verheijd helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Vince Verheijd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, FC broll's Roben Moerman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Laurens Clinckspoor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannis Cerneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurens Clinckspoor in the 39th minute of play. Kent Saelens hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Huijberechts in the 46th minute of play forced FC broll's goalkeeper Jo De Mulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Los Manguis & Company's zone, Ramon de Pelsmaecker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yannis Cerneels came out of the goal and Ramon de Pelsmaecker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo De Mulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Portai in the 57th minute of the match. Yannis Cerneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurens Clinckspoor in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Vince Verheijd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Manguis & Company's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vince Verheijd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greg Portai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo De Mulder having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Steven Huijberechts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jo De Mulder. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC broll's goalkeeper Jo De Mulder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Laurens Clinckspoor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yannis Cerneels was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Manguis & Company players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC broll.
