Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Maarten De Meur started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Maarten De Meur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Verhelst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maarten De Meur took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vince Verhelst. Vince Verhelst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dennis Pelsmaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maarten Moons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maarten De Meur might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Verhelst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maarten De Meur ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in VC La Reid fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Maarten De Meur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VC La Reid's Vince Verhelst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten De Meur in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VC La Reid's goalkeeper Vince Verhelst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vince Verhelst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten De Meur in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Emile Stuyck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC La Reid and the F.C. Bayern Munchen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emile Stuyck kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F.C. Bayern Munchen's Dolf Westelinx got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Patrik Van Der Veecken's late challenge caught a F.C. Bayern Munchen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Van Der Veecken helped the player get up and apologised. VC La Reid's Dennis Pelsmaeckers got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Quillian Walder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Bayern Munchen and the VC La Reid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes F.C. Bayern Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Quillian Walder. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Bayern Munchen's zone, Dennis Pelsmaeckers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maarten Moons came out of the goal and Dennis Pelsmaeckers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Pelsmaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Maarten Moons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoud Van Boeckost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half F.C. Bayern Munchen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 56 played minutes VC La Reid got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Van Der Veecken. F.C. Bayern Munchen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter-Jan Musseeuw in the 59th minute. Arnoud Van Boeckost charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoud Van Boeckost the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Arnoud Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorne Dekeyser in the 62nd minute of play forced F.C. Bayern Munchen's goalkeeper Maarten Moons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henri-Patrick Balckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Van Der Veecken kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Vince Verhelst was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter-Jan Musseeuw. After a rather tough play, F.C. Bayern Munchen's Quillian Walder got a free kick in the 88th minute. VC La Reid's Patrik Van Der Veecken couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for F.C. Bayern Munchen. In the 93rd minute, Arnoud Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jorne Dekeyser came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the VC La Reid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorne Dekeyser couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C. Bayern Munchen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
