Roy Pietersma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vince Verhelst. VC La Reid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Nala heeft honger fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Nala heeft honger's Richmond Pieters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The wind increased when Richmond Pieters made the kick off in the second half. Pieter Antheunis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vince Verhelst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Roger Coremans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nala heeft honger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Vince Verhelst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Richmond Pieters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vince Verhelst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Stephen Van De Gehuchte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vince Verhelst. That made the score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. When Anthoon Blomme fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nala heeft honger's protests and gave Anthoon Blomme a yellow card for diving instead.
