In the 11th minute, Chris-George Wortelers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to VC Walshoutem getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Chris-George Wortelers hit a great ball. Benedict Verelst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastian Spoelberghe in the 16th minute. Sebastian Maerschalks kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in VC Walshoutem's zone, Luka Engelboorgs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Leers came out of the goal and Luka Engelboorgs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Libramont-Chevigny booed when VC Walshoutem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Schoenmakers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Schoenmakers kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luka Engelboorgs in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Leers saved VC Walshoutem from getting behind. Libramont-Chevigny's Benedict Verelst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marnix Van Bombergen in the 29th minute of play. Benedict Verelst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marnix Van Bombergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Bastian Spoelberghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Walshoutem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Spoelberghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marnix Van Bombergen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedict Verelst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Camiel van Elderen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libramont-Chevigny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camiel van Elderen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Camiel van Elderen made the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Chris-George Wortelers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chris-George Wortelers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bastian Spoelberghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Camiel van Elderen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Leers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marnix Van Bombergen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Camiel van Elderen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libramont-Chevigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Camiel van Elderen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Leers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedict Verelst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Spoelberghe in the 76th minute of the match. Camiel van Elderen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Libramont-Chevigny players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
