Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Yens Godet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yens Godet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Castermans in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Wolkrange's zone, Freddy Van Craen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xander De Weerdt came out of the goal and Freddy Van Craen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnold Castermans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yens Godet came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnold Castermans slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Arnold Castermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yens Godet having to interfere. Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yens Godet having to interfere. The supporters of Bainkes booed when RSC Wolkrange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthieu Van Baerlem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Vrijdags fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander De Weerdt having to interfere. Bainkes's Yens Godet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Bainkes from getting a goal against them. Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yens Godet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Freddy Van Craen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Arnold Castermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Arnold Castermans made the kick off in the second half. Yens Godet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Castermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yens Godet having to interfere. Manuel Vrijdags sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, RSC Wolkrange's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Van Craen came free, but Xander De Weerdt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xander De Weerdt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hannes De Ridder. 81 minutes into the match, Arnold Castermans notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bainkes's Yens Godet. Yens Godet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, one of Bainkes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bainkes. The referee gave RSC Wolkrange a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luk Stoffels, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bainkes's Yens Godet. 4-0. Yens Godet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Castermans in the 92nd minute of the match. Arnold Castermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yens Godet having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris-George Anthonis during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. RSC Wolkrange's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luk Stoffels in the 98th minute. A well done corner resulted in Arnold Castermans drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind Bainkes's goalkeeper. RSC Wolkrange's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
