Carl Hofnagels's shot from long distance in the 3rd minute was not bad at all, but RSC Wolkrange's Xander De Weerdt knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Marnix Van Bombergen managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Walshoutem's supporters rose to their feet, but Marnix Van Bombergen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xander De Weerdt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, RSC Wolkrange's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bastian Spoelberghe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marnix Van Bombergen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xander De Weerdt having to make a save. Xander De Weerdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marnix Van Bombergen in the 14th minute of play. Axel Leers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Marnix Van Bombergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Bastian Spoelberghe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xander De Weerdt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Marnix Van Bombergen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xander De Weerdt was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Marnix Van Bombergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander De Weerdt having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Marnix Van Bombergen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xander De Weerdt. The goal made the score 2-0. Bastian Spoelberghe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Xander De Weerdt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Marnix Van Bombergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Wolkrange's Xander De Weerdt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xander De Weerdt made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Bastian Spoelberghe sent off a good shot on target.

Chris-George Wortelers's late challenge caught a RSC Wolkrange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris-George Wortelers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VC Walshoutem's Chris-George Wortelers got a free kick in the 55th minute. Xander De Weerdt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bastian Spoelberghe's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Chris-George Wortelers got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, VC Walshoutem's Chris-George Wortelers got a free kick in the 65th minute. Xander De Weerdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Spoelberghe in the 69th minute of play. Arnold Castermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, VC Walshoutem's Mattias Schoenmakers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xander De Weerdt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xander De Weerdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Spoelberghe in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VC Walshoutem's Mattias Schoenmakers got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. RSC Wolkrange's Yoachim Van den Paenhuysen got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xander De Weerdt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Spoelberghe in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastian Spoelberghe in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xander De Weerdt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VC Walshoutem had won after a very even match.
