Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mattijs Van Beersel got the match started through his kick off. Jeoffrey Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Blomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jeoffrey Frans made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jacq Wolfdoncx sent off a good shot on target. If Raymond Blomme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Roscams charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Roscams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oostakker getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ivo Roscams hit a great ball. Raymond Blomme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeoffrey Frans having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match Jan Feys shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeoffrey Frans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 16th minute of the match Ivo Roscams completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivo Roscams a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ivo Roscams hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jacq Wolfdoncx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jeoffrey Frans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fauvillers's Ian Govaerts got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Fauvillers booed when Oostakker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacky Petris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeoffrey Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Blomme in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Oostakker booed when Fauvillers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Govaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacky Petris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Van Achter having to interfere. Diederiek Van Achter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Petris in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Oostakker were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Blomme to make the kick off. Jeoffrey Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Blomme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeoffrey Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Blomme in the 56th minute of play. Jacky Petris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oostakker's Mattijs Van Beersel got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fauvillers's Diederiek Van Achter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Fauvillers from getting a goal against them. Jacky Petris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geert-Jan Sterckmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Van Achter having to interfere. Raymond Blomme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raymond Blomme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diederiek Van Achter made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jacky Petris sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes, Herman Straetmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oostakker and the Fauvillers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacq Wolfdoncx during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Fauvillers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oostakker's performance. The match ended with a win for Oostakker.
