Maxim Everts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorden De Ketelaere having to interfere. The supporters of F.C. De Stampers's Maxim Everts made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorden De Ketelaere was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Bjorn Shamp made a precise shot to the right of Jorden De Ketelaere. Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bjorn Shamp to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. De Stampers's zone, Lander Rauvoe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matt Van Mellart came out of the goal and Lander Rauvoe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes Sint-Maria-Oudenhove got a freekick which was hit by Pierre den Pelsmaeker. Maxim Everts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bjorn Shamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. De Stampers's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjorn Shamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorden De Ketelaere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Shamp came free, but Jorden De Ketelaere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjorn Shamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Sint-Maria-Oudenhove got a freekick which was hit by Lander Rauvoe. Matt Van Mellart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Rauvoe in the 88th minute of play. Matt Van Mellart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lander Rauvoe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn Shamp in the 94th minute of play forced Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's goalkeeper Jorden De Ketelaere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorne Landewijck during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Sint-Maria-Oudenhove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C. De Stampers's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C. De Stampers.
