Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jorne Landewijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diederiek Van Achter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorne Landewijck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christofere Van Gestelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorne Landewijck came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sint-Maria-Oudenhove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorne Landewijck couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Jacq Wolfdoncx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Sint-Maria-Oudenhove players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fauvillers were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorne Landewijck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lander Rauvoe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diederiek Van Achter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jorden De Ketelaere was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raymond Blomme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Blomme in the 72nd minute of play forced Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's goalkeeper Jorden De Ketelaere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Sint-Maria-Oudenhove 's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raymond Blomme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 92 minutes, Philippe Ottevaere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fauvillers and the Sint-Maria-Oudenhove players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Philippe Ottevaere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorden De Ketelaere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Blomme in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Raymond Blomme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden De Ketelaere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fauvillers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
