Andries Goris got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erwin-Alexander Van De Broeck. 7 minutes into the game, Kenney Zimmer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zandvoorde's Frederic Polspoel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zandvoorde's Frederic Polspoel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Herbert De Vreese made a great header on Zandvoorde's corner, it was just that KAA Tongerlo's Steff Ghesels managed to reach the ball for a save. Andries Goris made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zandvoorde's Philippe Francx. Philippe Francx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Steff Ghesels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steff Ghesels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles-Antoine Andries in the 35th minute. If Niels Berrewouts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andries Goris made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jim Van Den Hout however managed to control. Zandvoorde's attentive Frederic Polspoel managed to snatch the ball when Kenney Zimmer made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Vereect stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Andries Goris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAA Tongerlo and the Zandvoorde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Andries Goris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gert-Jan Grammet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Zandvoorde's Harrie Smidts got control of the ball when Constantijn de la Croix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Du Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harrie Smidts made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Constantijn de la Croix sent off a good shot on target. It was beautiful to see Zandvoorde's Lennert Morreels in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Zandvoorde's Philippe Francx managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erwin-Alexander Van De Broeck in the 76 minute of the game. Philippe Francx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steff Ghesels having to interfere. Andries Goris got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Guillaume Limpens. The throw-in from Kenney Zimmer in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zandvoorde's Frederic Polspoel. 1-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Frederic Polspoel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Steff Ghesels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Francx in the 91st minute of play.
