Rocky Vercammen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Dirickx in the 3rd minute of the match. With his leg Rocky Vercammen managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when SK Papenbroek's Remco Van Haght fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remco Van Haght got free with Rocky Vercammen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitri Dirickx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rocky Vercammen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Degraef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Roelands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK Papenbroek getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jarne Van Der Eyde hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Herbert Roelands put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Degraef. 27 minutes into the match, TIKI TAKA CF's Robben Rosseels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Degraef narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SK Papenbroek's Raf Van Achter got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Robben Rosseels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The SK Papenbroek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TIKI TAKA CF were winning 0-1.

Remco Van Haght struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rocky Vercammen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Papenbroek. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Sterckx during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SK Papenbroek booed when TIKI TAKA CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Sterckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robben Rosseels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Roelands could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Kevin Degraef made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Robben Rosseels dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kevin Degraef, 0-2. The SK Papenbroek fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when SK Papenbroek's Dimitri Dirickx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimitri Dirickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Vercammen having to interfere. If Remco Van Haght had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
