Frederic Waterloos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thys Van Hespen in the 12th minute of the match. Frederic Waterloos was a little too slow when Thys Van Hespen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Funky Belgianz's Stef Van Collenborgh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arno Hombroeckx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bobby Parmentier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arno Hombroeckx having to make a save. After 20 minutes of play, Funky Belgianz's Sean Coenens made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 33 played minutes Funky Belgianz got a freekick which was hit by Arend Rauvoe. In the 37th minute, Sean Coenens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Funky Belgianz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Stef Van Collenborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funky Belgianz's supporters rose to their feet, but Stef Van Collenborgh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arno Hombroeckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stef Van Collenborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Senne Polspoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The KV Hanset players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Funky Belgianz were winning 2-4.

After 51 played minutes KV Hanset got a freekick which was hit by Noel Verheecke. Arno Hombroeckx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stef Van Collenborgh. 56 minutes into the match, KV Hanset's Victor Haemers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederic Waterloos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Jeffery Van Geertruyden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederic Waterloos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thys Van Hespen scored 3-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederic Waterloos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 minutes, Senne Polspoel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Funky Belgianz and the KV Hanset players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Funky Belgianz's Senne Polspoel got a free kick in the 64th minute. Frederic Waterloos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brecht Van Meel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brecht Van Meel in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederic Waterloos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Senne Polspoel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Brecht Van Meel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Hanset and the Funky Belgianz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Funky Belgianz booed when KV Hanset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecht Van Meel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sean Coenens struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Arno Hombroeckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funky Belgianz. Funky Belgianz played a much better game than KV Hanset and deserved their victory. The KV Hanset players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
