Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Vandamme in the 19th minute of play forced Kruishoutem's goalkeeper Kasper Rix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunter Heijlen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kruishoutem booed when Harelbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunter Heijlen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kruishoutem's Gabriel Velkeneers got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harelbeke's Luke Flocquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Velkeneers in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Velkeneers in the 45th minute of play forced Harelbeke's goalkeeper Luke Flocquier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Gabriel Velkeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Flocquier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Gabriel Velkeneers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Flocquier having to interfere. Noel Vandamme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kasper Rix made a huge save. Arnaud Dierickx kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Gabriel Velkeneers notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Harelbeke's Luke Flocquier. Luke Flocquier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Noel Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 80 in the game by Vic De Mesemaekre from a close distance when the talented Kasper Rix managed to make a qualified save. Kruishoutem's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Kruishoutem defense, Vic De Mesemaekre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Rix. The Kruishoutem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Rix should have stopped the shot. In the 93rdth minute of the game Yanniek Leenpoels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harelbeke's Luke Flocquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vic De Mesemaekre did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Kasper Rix 97 minutes into the match. The Harelbeke players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kruishoutem from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
