Martijn Herpoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olliver Krabbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joerie Hairpoel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martijn Herpoel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martijn Herpoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Krabbe in the 10th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Herbert vrolijx made a precise shot to the right of Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke. Zemst's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Zemst's goal looked a bit too open when Rajmond Van Nel came free, but Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, SK Sint-Niklaas's Rajmond Van Nel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Zemst's goal looked a bit too open when Rajmond Van Nel came free, but Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martijn Herpoel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Joerie Hairpoel sent off a good shot on target. After 32 played minutes SK Sint-Niklaas got a freekick which was hit by Abel Uijterhove. After a rather tough play, Zemst's Willy De Worteleer got a free kick in the 34th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olliver Krabbe made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SK Sint-Niklaas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Uijterhove to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SK Sint-Niklaas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abel Uijterhove hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Jeoffrey Cornelis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SK Sint-Niklaas's Martijn Herpoel didn't even have to move. Harold Wautiers hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Zemst's Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert vrolijx in the 66th minute of play. Dany-Adams Van Glabeeke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert vrolijx's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Rajmond Van Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zemst's Jeoffrey Cornelis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Harold Wautiers's late challenge caught a SK Sint-Niklaas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harold Wautiers helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Zemst got a freekick which was hit by Harold Wautiers. It was a well-played corner which Roland De Clerk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 96 minutes, Rajmond Van Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Sint-Niklaas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rajmond Van Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SK Sint-Niklaas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
