After 13 minutes, Geoffrey Dhondt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Golden Storm and the Anseghem players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fred De Middeleer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. William De Mayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Geoffrey Dhondt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anseghem's William De Mayer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Volens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Verheijd having to interfere. If Geoffrey Dhondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William De Mayer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geoffrey Dhondt's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Geoffrey Dhondt struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. William De Mayer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Golden Storm. William De Mayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred De Middeleer in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Geoffrey Dhondt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anseghem's William De Mayer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anseghem's William De Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred De Middeleer in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, FC Golden Storm's Geoffrey Dhondt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William De Mayer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Volens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred De Middeleer got free with William De Mayer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Geoffrey Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Golden Storm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geoffrey Dhondt couldn't finish the play. William De Mayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey Dhondt in the 78th minute of the match. Fred De Middeleer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, William De Mayer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. William De Mayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey Dhondt in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over FC Golden Storm could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anseghem throughout the match.
