FC Golden Storm's Geoffrey Dhondt got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remi Paelinck during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remi Paelinck kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Golden Storm's Werner Cempeners got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Tommie Van Leemputte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Golden Storm's Jeremie Verheijd didn't even have to move. Geoffrey Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lander Schepens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geoffrey Dhondt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 23 minutes, Jeremy Rauvoets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Poederlee and the FC Golden Storm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, RSC Poederlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Rauvoets to maneuver through the defense. Fred De Middeleer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Lander Schepens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The long shot by Dreas Verschelde in the 28th minute really tested Lander Schepens's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 32nd minute, Fred De Middeleer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lander Schepens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the RSC Poederlee defense, Fred De Middeleer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lander Schepens. The RSC Poederlee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lander Schepens should have stopped the shot. Geoffrey Dhondt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lander Schepens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Geoffrey Dhondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RSC Poederlee's Lander Schepens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Dhondt in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremy Rauvoets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gerrit Caes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremie Verheijd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Caes in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, RSC Poederlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Van Leemputte to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see FC Golden Storm's Alexandre Van Ghele in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to RSC Poederlee getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bass Deswarte hit a great ball. Alexandre Van Ghele was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mathieux Gijselinckx struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jeremie Verheijd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Poederlee. 67 minutes into the match, FC Golden Storm's Fred De Middeleer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lander Schepens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Golden Storm's Alexandre Van Ghele couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RSC Poederlee. After 75 played minutes RSC Poederlee got a freekick which was hit by Mathieux Gijselinckx. Lander Schepens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey Dhondt in the 76th minute of the match. Gerrit Caes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jeremie Verheijd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoffrey Dhondt in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lander Schepens saved RSC Poederlee from getting behind. Fred De Middeleer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lander Schepens having to interfere. Ben Serneels hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Fred De Middeleer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lander Schepens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC Golden Storm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
