Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 110) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dave De Prins took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Francis Van de Wal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bjorn Van Geertruyen skillfully saved the ball. Bjorn Van Geertruyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave De Prins in the 5th minute of the match. Sven Ketelers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Van Geertruyen having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, RG Raggers's goal looked a bit too open when Dave De Prins came free, but Bjorn Van Geertruyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pomptje getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Xander-Paul Paelemans hit a great ball. Arnoud De Wortelaer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 14thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pomptje's keeper Jorge Maerschalk was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Arnoud De Wortelaer in the 14th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jorge Maerschalk kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a rather tough play, Pomptje's Xander-Paul Paelemans got a free kick in the 17th minute. RG Raggers's Bjorn Van Geertruyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave De Prins in the 25th minute of play. Pomptje's Dave De Prins got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pomptje's Dave De Prins in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RG Raggers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Sven Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjorn Van Geertruyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Ketelers scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjorn Van Geertruyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Pomptje's goalkeeper Jorge Maerschalk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoud De Wortelaer. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wout Ooms to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Arnoud De Wortelaer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jorge Maerschalk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Wout Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Maerschalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnoud De Wortelaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Maerschalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wout Ooms in the 62nd minute of play. Wout Ooms struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jorge Maerschalk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RG Raggers. After 69 played minutes Pomptje got a freekick which was hit by Izak Voorhof. Sven Ketelers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, RG Raggers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven Ketelers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnoud De Wortelaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wout Ooms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pomptje's Arthur Bogaerts got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pomptje players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RG Raggers.
