Wout Ooms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacq Slegers having to interfere. A collision led to Wauveringen getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adam Van Herck hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, RG Raggers's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Degraef came free, but Bjorn Van Geertruyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wauveringen's zone, Arnoud De Wortelaer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Slegers came out of the goal and Arnoud De Wortelaer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjorn Van Geertruyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetan Acke in the 30th minute of the match. Arnoud De Wortelaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wauveringen's Jacq Slegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoud De Wortelaer in the 38th minute of play. If Mathias-Alexander Degraef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaetan Acke succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wout Ooms to strike the kick off in the second half. When Wauveringen's Gaetan Acke in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bjorn Van Geertruyen came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Wauveringen's Mathias-Alexander Degraef. But to his dismay, Mathias-Alexander Degraef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jilian Isemborgh took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacq Slegers. Jacq Slegers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Degraef in the 91st minute of play forced RG Raggers's goalkeeper Bjorn Van Geertruyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, RG Raggers's Jilian Isemborgh got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Mathias-Alexander Degraef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Van Geertruyen having to interfere. RG Raggers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
