Spectators: 7557 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wout Ooms started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Amaury Smekens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RG Raggers and the Vlasmeer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vlasmeer booed when RG Raggers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amaury Smekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Denis Van Der Elst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Laporte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wout Ooms came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the RG Raggers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wout Ooms couldn't finish the play. The supporters of RG Raggers booed when Vlasmeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Van Acker didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vlasmeer's Frits Van Gorp got control of the ball when Arnoud De Wortelaer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jilian Isemborgh kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Denis Van Der Elst took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjorn Van Geertruyen. Bjorn Van Geertruyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Denis Van Der Elst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bjorn Van Geertruyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, one of RG Raggers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RG Raggers. RG Raggers:s Bjorn Van Geertruyen showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Demeulemeester:s penalty. Frits Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wout Ooms in the 43rd minute of play. Miguel Laporte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Van Geertruyen having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Van Der Elst to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RG Raggers's zone, Denis Van Der Elst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjorn Van Geertruyen came out of the goal and Denis Van Der Elst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of RG Raggers booed when Vlasmeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Engelbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Wout Ooms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RG Raggers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wout Ooms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Miguel Laporte made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. RG Raggers's Bjorn Van Geertruyen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Van Der Elst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Van Geertruyen having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, RG Raggers's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Van Der Elst came free, but Bjorn Van Geertruyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amaury Smekens kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Kevin Demeulemeester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RG Raggers's Bjorn Van Geertruyen didn't even have to move. A collision led to Vlasmeer getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rafael Van Der Meren hit a great ball. Vlasmeer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
