The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Noordhofwijk's zone, Qwinten De Weyngaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Rouvoet came out of the goal and Qwinten De Weyngaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Andrew Damman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Ramillies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Damman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Reijniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carel Justus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noordhofwijk's Richard Rouvoet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Noordhofwijk from getting a goal against them. After having played for 29 minutes, Qwinten De Weyngaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Ramillies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qwinten De Weyngaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Reijniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Justus having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arnold De Block kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Michael Reijniers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carel Justus came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Reijniers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 54th minute. Noordhofwijk's Richard Rouvoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten De Weyngaert in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qwinten De Weyngaert in the 61st minute of play forced Noordhofwijk's goalkeeper Richard Rouvoet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Qwinten De Weyngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, KSV Ramillies's Carel Justus got control of the ball when Cedrik Claessens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Reijniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Justus having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Andrew Damman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Ramillies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Noordhofwijk's zone, Qwinten De Weyngaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Rouvoet came out of the goal and Qwinten De Weyngaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Qwinten De Weyngaert notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Noordhofwijk's Richard Rouvoet. Richard Rouvoet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Noordhofwijk players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KSV Ramillies from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
