Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregoire Sloeve started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Assebroek FC's Axell Van de Poel got control of the ball when Bavo Hoolemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Bavo Hoolemans took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Axell Van de Poel to make any attempt to save it. Team Vleesklak's Jules Oelemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregoire Sloeve in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Gill Delen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Vleesklak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gill Delen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Bavo Hoolemans fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Axell Van de Poel, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 21 minutes, Bavo Hoolemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Vleesklak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bavo Hoolemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luckas Dejardin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Assebroek FC's Axell Van de Poel got control of the ball when Bavo Hoolemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bavo Hoolemans came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Team Vleesklak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bavo Hoolemans couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Bavo Hoolemans made a precise shot to the right of Axell Van de Poel. Assebroek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 56 minutes into the match, Assebroek FC's Jorden Hemeleers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jules Oelemans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axell Van de Poel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bavo Hoolemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jorden Hemeleers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Team Vleesklak's goalkeeper Jules Oelemans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorden Hemeleers. Gilliam Lannoye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gill Delen might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axell Van de Poel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gill Delen ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregoire Sloeve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bavo Hoolemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Sergio Jaddon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Vleesklak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Jaddon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bavo Hoolemans took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axell Van de Poel. Axell Van de Poel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Michiel Goris hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Team Vleesklak walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
