Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) KVM2008's Waut Van Aerschodt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Cubelicious got a freekick which was hit by Philippe-Arnaud Van Der Weghen. Dominik Elens came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by KVM2008's Freek Van Kamp. But to his dismay, Freek Van Kamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cubelicious's Dominik Elens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waut Van Aerschodt in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Cubelicious's Brian Van Nel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joppe Van den Berge. Joppe Van den Berge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Joppe Van den Berge made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Brian Van Nel sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cubelicious getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marco Decremer hit a great ball. Brent Van Geertruyen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Cubelicious booed when KVM2008 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Depauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoine De Weerdt kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KVM2008! The goalkeeper, Joppe Van den Berge, was totally fooled by Cubelicious's Vince van der Eycken, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dominik Elens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waut Van Aerschodt in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Waut Van Aerschodt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KVM2008 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Depauw during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cubelicious booed when KVM2008 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Depauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brent Van Geertruyen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Van Geertruyen in the 58th minute of play forced KVM2008's goalkeeper Joppe Van den Berge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cubelicious's goalkeeper Dominik Elens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominik Elens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waut Van Aerschodt's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Cubelicious was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Decremer to maneuver through the defense. Cubelicious's Dominik Elens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cubelicious from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes KVM2008 got a freekick which was hit by Siebe Sneijers. Joppe Van den Berge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Van Nel in the 68th minute of play. Dominik Elens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoachim Fabry in the 73rd minute. Joppe Van den Berge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Van Nel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Brian Van Nel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Cubelicious fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Van Nel couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Freek Van Kamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Dominik Elens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brent Van Geertruyen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cubelicious getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sam Aerts hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match KVM2008 got a corner. Cubelicious's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eric Depauw ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KVM2008's Eric Depauw to fire away a dangerous shot which Dominik Elens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
