The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wesley Francken hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cubelicious's Vince van der Eycken couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kawitras. Bruno Baeyens charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Baeyens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Kawitras got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Baeyens. Ryan Rutgeerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Josef Van Clijnebreugel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Kawitras's Josef Van Clijnebreugel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Elens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Josef Van Clijnebreugel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Elens having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan Rutgeerts in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Elens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominik Elens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Rutgeerts's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Kawitras's Maxime Decorte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Kawitras from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent Van Geertruyen to make the kick off. Cubelicious's Vince van der Eycken couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kawitras. Brent Van Geertruyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Decorte having to interfere. Josef Van Clijnebreugel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Dominik Elens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Josef Van Clijnebreugel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Maxime Decorte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Van Geertruyen in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Brent Van Geertruyen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubelicious's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Van Geertruyen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Elens made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Josef Van Clijnebreugel sent off a good shot on target. Maxime Decorte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Van Geertruyen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
