Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnny Pelleman started the match with the kick off. Vince van der Eycken hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Dominik Elens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Pelleman in the 5th minute of the match. Brian Van Nel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Johnny Pelleman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cubelicious's Dominik Elens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willem Jansens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dominik Elens made a huge save. Dominik Elens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Pelleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Johnny Pelleman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Elens having to interfere. Marco Decremer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Johnny Pelleman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Elens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Elens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willem Jansens in the 27th minute. Brent Van Geertruyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Van Huele having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Willem Jansens from a close distance when the talented Dominik Elens managed to make a qualified save. Cubelicious's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zaibatsu's zone, Brent Van Geertruyen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Van Huele came out of the goal and Brent Van Geertruyen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Cubelicious's goalkeeper Dominik Elens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willem Jansens. Gert Van Huele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Van Geertruyen in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brent Van Geertruyen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Willem Jansens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cubelicious's goalkeeper Dominik Elens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Rudi Wiechgers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zaibatsu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cubelicious the free kick. In the 64th match minute, FC Zaibatsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Wiechgers to maneuver through the defense. Willem Jansens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dominik Elens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Pelleman's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Cubelicious got a freekick which was hit by Sam Aerts. After 80 played minutes Cubelicious got a freekick which was hit by Marco Decremer. Dominik Elens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Pelleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnny Pelleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Elens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Pelleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Willem Jansens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zaibatsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willem Jansens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Zaibatsu had played much better football throughout.
