After recieving a nice pass, Londerzeel Storm Sectie's Matty Valckenaers tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Hosselaer in the 11th minute of play forced Zele's goalkeeper Andrew De Metser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karel-Jan Van Haght received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lucas Coekx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Daniel Van Den Abeele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zele's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Van Den Abeele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Coekx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Coekx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karel-Jan Van Haght's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Lucas Coekx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Van Den Abeele in the 23rd minute of play. Daniel Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrew De Metser was a little too slow when Axel Hosselaer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Charles-Louis Moors hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zele's Siebe Peten got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Daniel Van Den Abeele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Coekx. Londerzeel Storm Sectie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Van Den Abeele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daniel Van Den Abeele struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lucas Coekx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zele. Lucas Coekx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel-Jan Van Haght in the 45th minute of play. Daniel Van Den Abeele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Coekx having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karel-Jan Van Haght was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Coekx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karel-Jan Van Haght's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Londerzeel Storm Sectie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Karel-Jan Van Haght scored to the left of an out of position Lucas Coekx, making the score, 1-2. Daniel Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Hosselaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Van Den Abeele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Coekx. The goal made the score 1-3. Daniel Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Coekx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel-Jan Van Haght in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Londerzeel Storm Sectie getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Perry Bosbeeck hit a great ball. Lucas Coekx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel-Jan Van Haght, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Van Den Abeele got free with Lucas Coekx in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88th play minutes Karel-Jan Van Haght shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Lucas Coekx and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucas Coekx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karel-Jan Van Haght showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. Zele's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
