Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brent Van Geertruyen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dominik Elens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ward Schroons in the 2nd minute of play. Jullian Valckeneers stood somewhat misplaced when Brent Van Geertruyen came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Dan Van Linthoudt kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Brent Van Geertruyen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Elens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Schroons, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd of the match, Brent Van Geertruyen tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jullian Valckeneers got in the way and made a wonderful save. 1-2 became the score in the 27th minute when Ward Schroons elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Brent Van Geertruyen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenney De Koq in the 37th minute of play forced Cubelicious's goalkeeper Dominik Elens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Elens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenney De Koq, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Ward Schroons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Ward Schroons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Elens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Marco Decremer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brent Van Geertruyen struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jullian Valckeneers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cubelicious. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ward Schroons stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cubelicious's Sam Aerts got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Ward Schroons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Sam Aerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brent Van Geertruyen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Van Nel in the 59th minute of play forced SC Lovenhoek's goalkeeper Jullian Valckeneers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, SC Lovenhoek's Kenney De Koq made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominik Elens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ward Schroons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Brian Van Nel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lovenhoek's Jullian Valckeneers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Kristen De Boeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Lovenhoek's Jullian Valckeneers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Van Nel in the 77th minute of play. Dominik Elens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ward Schroons showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. Dominik Elens came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lovenhoek's Kenney De Koq. But to his dismay, Kenney De Koq quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The SC Lovenhoek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Lovenhoek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
