Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnny Pelleman started the match with the kick off. Bruno Baeyens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Van Langendonckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kawitras and the FC Zaibatsu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Zaibatsu booed when Kawitras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Van Langendonckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Tommas Coussement sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kawitras's Maxime Decorte didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice moves Willem Jansens could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Maxime Decorte however easily saved by the left post. FC Zaibatsu's Willem Jansens came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Maxime Decorte had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of FC Zaibatsu booed when Kawitras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Van Langendonckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Johnny Pelleman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Decorte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kawitras's Josef Van Clijnebreugel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Van Clijnebreugel charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Van Clijnebreugel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Zaibatsu booed when Kawitras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Van Clijnebreugel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Willem Jansens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willem Jansens got free with Maxime Decorte in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny Pelleman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maxime Decorte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Verschelde during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Zaibatsu's Klaas Verschelde got a free kick in the 37th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kawitras's Yens Tael tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gert Van Huele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Rutgeerts in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zaibatsu's zone, Josef Van Clijnebreugel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Van Huele came out of the goal and Josef Van Clijnebreugel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kawitras's Maxime Decorte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Kawitras from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Maxime Decorte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Pelleman in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnny Pelleman in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Decorte saved Kawitras from getting behind. If Johnny Pelleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Decorte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Pelleman in the 59th minute of play. Josef Van Clijnebreugel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Pelleman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Kawitras got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Baeyens. When Johnny Pelleman came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Zaibatsu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Pelleman couldn't finish the play. Maxime Decorte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Pelleman in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Johnny Pelleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zaibatsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Pelleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Willem Jansens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zaibatsu's supporters rose to their feet, but Willem Jansens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Decorte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef Van Clijnebreugel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gert Van Huele made a huge save. Johnny Pelleman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maxime Decorte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kawitras getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bruno Baeyens hit a great ball. After 88 minutes of play, FC Zaibatsu's Willem Jansens made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Decorte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kawitras's Maxime Decorte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Pelleman in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Willem Jansens made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Decorte. Kawitras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. FC Zaibatsu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
